Sunday, Feb 22nd 10:30a to 11:00a
S.A.T.O is collecting baked treats in support of Ve’ahavta’s Make a Meal Programme. This is an “at home project” with the drop off at Beth David Synagogue’s parking lot on February 22, 2026 from 10:30 to 11am and delivery on February 23rd to the Ve’ahavta office If you are unable to make the drop off date or time but would still like to participate, please contact us at the email below. No time to bake? Store bought cookies or muffins happily accepted if individually bagged*. No nuts please due to dental issues. A sweet treat from the Beth David Community would be greatly appreciated by the Ve’ahavta clients. Thank you for your support in this S.A.T.O initiative. Sunday, Mar 8th 4:00p to 7:00p
SATO – Social Action Tikkun Olam Committee is inviting you to be part of our dinner preparations for Evangel Hall whose mission is to bring hope and leadership to address housing and financial instability in Toronto. Every Sunday, Evangel Hall hosts a Sunday night hot dinner for 180 people. On Sunday, March 8 SATO has volunteered to purchase the food, prepare and serve this meal. This is a unique opportunity to forge meaningful connections with our Toronto community. We are looking for additional volunteers to help serve the meal, engage with the clients and help with the tidying up after the meal from 4-7 pm. All ages are welcome and we encourage students and families to join . There is limited availability for this opportunity. Please register here. -
