Dr. Maru Gete was born in Ethiopia and made Aliya to Israel at the age of 9 (1991). He completed Medical school in Israel at the University of Ben-Gurion and conducted a residency in Otolaryngology head and neck surgery at Shaare Zedek Medical center in Jerusalem.

He is now doing 2 years fellowship in Mount Sinai hospital in the area of head and neck oncology, sinus and skull base surgery.
