Presenters:
​Ryan Clow, Senior Director, Community Security, UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, will give an overview of present and emerging security concerns and best practices in the Jewish community while outlining measures being taken towards community preparedness including educational efforts and emergency protocols.
Superintendent Ricky Veerappan, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Bureau, Community Services, York Regional Police, will address steps being taken by police services to identify threats to the Jewish community, programs in place to respond to hate related activities and collaborative efforts to build community engagement.
Carmi Levy, Journalist and Technology Analyst, will discuss emerging trends regarding onine threats to individuals and institutions and provide valuable insights into how to protect yourself using basic cybersecurity hygiene practices.
