A Message from SATO
Thank-you so much to all of our Beth David members and their families and friends whocontributed and participated in SATO’s Mitzvah Day on Sunday, November 6/22! By any standards Mitzvah Day 2022 was a tremendous success. A tremendous success in bringing forward a spirit of communal volunteerism; a tremendous success in attendance; and a tremendous success in terms of accomplishments to provide support to those in need. Our Beth David community decorated and filled snack bags for Ronald McDonald House, filled purses with necessities for the Fill a Purse for a Sister campaign, sorted clothing for Ve’Ahavta, made blankets and sandwiches for Ve’Ahavta, wrote letters to Israeli soldiers, decorated tzedekah boxes and dropped off eye glasses and hearing aids for the Lion’s Club. We also received many monetary gifts and raised money through our raffle which was used to make donations to Chai Lifeline and Jewish Family & Child’s Drive for Dreidels. It takes a village and we are truly blessed to be part of such a giving, caring village!
