Oh what a night! Our Kabbalat Shabbat started off with a beautiful evening outside, sun shining, lovely breeze. We had over 80 people join us for services. We sang with Michael and Marshall, filling the air with beautiful voices ready to welcome the Shabbat. There were people of all ages, from babies to teens to boomers to wonderful seniors all in attendance. Next, we had a meal fit for royalty. There was so much to eat! Everyone entered the room to see lovely table decorations with flowers, lights and a blue/white theme. We socialized, laughed, and enjoyed the welcoming and friendly atmosphere of the room. What an amazing beginning to our Shabbat. Beth David certainly provided an opportunity to connect back to our community, including all the components we would want to share with each other-the coming together for prayer, the coming together for a meal, and the coming together for a sense of joy and belonging. We look forward to sharing many more events and opportunities to bring our congregation together and to grow and become a vital part of our Jewish community.
Kol Hakavod to the Commitee and thank you to Janice Goldmintz for the beautiful words and lovely photo.
