Community Opportunities for Tikun Olam
NCJWC Toronto Passover Food Drive 2024 (National Council of Jewish Women of Canada) For 41 years, NCJWC Toronto has been preparing and delivering Passover Food Boxes to vulnerable members of our community. Our Annual Food Drive is truly a community effort, encompassing hundreds of volunteers and supported with generous funding and food donations from people across the GTA. From a grassroots initiative in 1983 the Passover Food Drive has grown exponentially, ensuring that the needy members of our community can celebrate and enjoy Passover with dignity.
There will be evening Minyanim at Beth David at 7PM Monday April 8th and Tuesday April 9th to honour the memory of Al Wasserman, father of Janice Goldmintz on his first yahrzeit. There will also be an evening minyan on Wednesday April 10th at 7 PM Please join Adath Israel on Sunday and Thursday evenings at 7:00 PM.
