Welcome to the MJDS Community Havdalah On Ice event!

Join us, along with our partners PJ Library and Beth David Synagogue, on January 17, 2026 at 7:00 PM for a fun-filled evening. Get ready to skate, laugh, and celebrate the end of Shabbat together. Don't forget to register your friends and family along for this special gathering.

Havdalah ceremony will be held adjacent to ice rink so everyone can participate even if not skating.

Early Registration is MANDATORY:

• ALL guest MUST register prior to the deadline. No exceptions. Please register here in advance by January 9th at 3pm.

• Attendees who have not preregistered in advance will NOT be admitted to the event.
• We will require full name, email, phone number and affiliation for every adult attendee. Please ensure you take the time to fill out the order form properly after registering.

Equipment:

• Please bring your own helmets and skates from home.
• If needed, the venue has a skate rental desk for a small fee per person.

Venue:

• For security purposes, the venue location will be sent to all attendees closer to the event. It is located approximately 15-20 minutes from the school's location in the north end of the city.

Security:

• We will have exclusive access to our event area, but other areas of the venue will be open to other groups. Access to our area will be tightly controlled.
• Please ensure you supervise your children AT ALL TIMES both inside our exclusive area and outside and follow the instructions of Toronto Police, MJDS Staff and Security Guards, and JSN Protectors.

Food:

• Kosher light snacks and hot drinks will be provided.
• Other (non-kosher) food options are available for purchase at the venue.
