We had a great time celebrating Purim this year and successfully read the megillah with 49 chanters from both the sanctuary and at home! Thank you to everyone who volunteered to read and we loved seeing so many people come together after many periods of isolation during the pandemic.

Beth David’s 8th Annual Purim Project was a major success, bringing in over $13,000. Around 500 Purim greetings were delivered to Beth David families. Thanks to many generous donations, we were able to send to over 100 of our more vulnerable members who were not selected but who we felt would appreciate a Hag Sameah from the shul. Thank you to Lisa Levine and Cheryl Kalpin for heading the project this year and to Sue-Anne Mayers, Beth Feffer, Sorele Urman and Barbara Kochberg for stuffing the envelopes. A special thank-you goes out to Helene Jacobs for leading the project on the administrative side and providing invaluable assistance to those wishing to donate.
